We started Late Night Royalty because we both wanted to build something that mattered. Colin had always dreamed of creating his own brand - years ago, he watched a content creator launch theirs and thought, "I want to do that with my life." Mackenzee wanted to create a community for people who've struggled with bullying, self-doubt, and mental health - a space where people can be themselves and support each other.
So we combined Colin's love for JDM car culture, late-night creativity, and design with Mackenzee's passion for building real connections and uplifting others. That's how LNR was born - a brand that's equal parts creative freedom and community.
LNR is for the people who thrive after hours, who reject the mundane, and who aren't afraid to be themselves. We're building a lifestyle brand rooted in authenticity, creativity, and the belief that everyone deserves a community that has their back.
Whether you're here for the design, the car culture, or the message of resilience and self-acceptance - you're in the right place. We're creating a space where you can find your people and represent both sides of the same crown, the light and the dark, the struggle and the strength, the creativity and the courage.
This isn't just clothing. It's a brand for people who've been through it and came out ready to build something better.
Kia-ora my name is Mackenzee, Co-Founder and Marketing Director of Late Night Royalty
I have been with Colin for 3 years now, longest years of my life – just kidding. I am 28 years old, I enjoy good coffee spots, nice walks, the colour pink, good friends, good people and music.
My reason for creating LNR is to find our kind of people, to create a community that aren’t afraid to be themselves. People that will stand up for not only themselves but for others as well. Bullying and self-doubt have had a huge impact on majority of my life. It consumed me and I became very shy and lacked in confidence.
My mental health was spiralling, and I didn’t know how to fix it, I didn’t have a community to turn too, I didn’t have that many friends and I thought my family couldn’t help (even though there were a lot of people I could turn to). It wasn’t until the years after school when I realised that I don’t have to let it consume me anymore. Something just clicked or changed. I met my people, the best friends I could ask for, and now I want to create that same feeling that I had when I decided to let go.
This is one of the many reasons I wanted to create a community of supportive people that have been through it or may not know the struggles but have seen others go through it. To show support, encourage, lean on and uplift each other.
LNR is for anyone that can relate to my story and represent not only who LNR are as people, but the meaning of both sides of the same crown.
Hey, I'm Colin, Co-Founder and Design Director of Late Night Royalty.
I've always wanted to create my own brand. Years ago, I watched a content creator launch theirs and thought, I want to do that with my life, unfortunately life got in the way and it didnt happen until years later, my partner Mackenzee and I decided to build something together. After tossing around ideas, I said, "What about a clothing brand?" And just like that, LNR was born.
My vision for LNR is simple: create a brand that celebrates the people who thrive after hours, who reject the mundane, and who find inspiration in JDM car culture and late-night creativity. This isn't just clothing - it's a lifestyle built on freedom, authenticity, and the drive to create something that's truly ours.
What drives me? When I'm designing - whether it's the site, the clothing, or the branding - I get into a flow state instantly. That spark from the first night we decided to give this a go keeps me going. LNR is my creative outlet, my escape, and proof that there's another way to live and work.
